Sencha App

In ART 575, my team, Emma Kim, Cree Faber, and I, was tasked with creating an app for a local coffee shop called Sencha. Using Figma and the design thinking process, we developed a comprehensive app mockup. The project involved several stages, including empathizing with the end-users, defining the problem, ideating solutions, prototyping the app, and testing its usability. Each phase required close collaboration and constant iteration to ensure we were meeting the needs of the coffee shop and its customers.

This project taught me valuable lessons in standardizing decisions across a team, which ensured consistency and clarity throughout the development process. I also learned how to effectively resolve conflicts within the team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Additionally, delegating tasks according to each team member's strengths allowed us to work efficiently and leverage our diverse skills. This experience underscored the importance of teamwork, communication, and strategic planning in achieving a successful project outcome.
