Rebekah Stacey

Hi, my name is Rebekah Stacey, and I recently graduated from UW-Madison with a major in Marketing and certificates in Graphic Design and Digital Studies. Throughout my academic journey, I consistently earned a spot on the Dean's List while managing a rigorous course load of around 18 credits per semester. Outside the classroom, I actively engaged in various clubs, held a part-time position at Target, and completed an internship with Claritas. My involvement in the American Marketing Association's UW-Madison chapter, particularly on the marketing media and apparel committees, provided me with valuable hands-on experience.

I discovered my passion for sustainability through the Social and Environmental Business Advocates (SEBA) club. This club offered me numerous leadership opportunities, including organizing sustainability roundtable talks and successful sustainability networking nights. Leading the marketing initiatives for these events, I am proud to report a substantial 75% increase in attendance between the two sustainability networking events we hosted.

In my free time, I have been working on developing a digital bullet journal to merge my professional skills and personal interests. I have been drawing out my own bullet journals since middle school. Additionally, I integrate sustainability into my personal life by thrifting and flipping clothing and crocheting my own clothing.

 

My long-term career goal is to mesh my passion for marketing and sustainability. I aspire to leverage my marketing skills to drive positive change by helping companies develop and promote sustainable products and practices, ultimately contributing to a more eco-friendly and socially responsible future.
